With obesity increasing alarmingly in this country I feel it is important to offer a site where people can share ideas with one another to help combat this problem.I have always been into physical fitness and enjoy working out. Over the last couple of years I have taken up running competitively to expand my fitness regime. Currently I am in training to compete in my first triathlon.
I do not have all the answers, but I feel that I can contribute much in the way of motivation and direction to help people get started with an exercise program. Once they have started on their path to exercise, this site can be a tool to help them maintain their regiment.
I really hope to help people understand that by staying physically fit they can better enjoy life. Some of the benefits that arise from an active lifestyle are better mental and physical health, which in turn means less trips to the doctor. People will also start to notice that they have more energy and they will have a different outlook on life.
Life is short and should be lived to the fullest. It doesn't matter if you are a professional athlete or a novice, I invite you to comment on this site, give your opinion or even share your personal knowledge to help others in this endeavor.
